Resident Artists receive the following benefits:
Facilities
As an Arts Incubator Resident Member you`ll enjoy the full use of the AI facility, 24 hours a day:
* Individual studio space with secure storage
* Access to common workspaces
* Access to shops and equipment for various mediums including wood, metal,
textiles, photography, ceramics, and printmaking
Professional Support
You will also receive a number of professional development opportunities:
* Workshops on various topics ranging from creating an effective portfolio to
building your business
* Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation FastTrac program tailored for the needs of
creative entrepreneurs
* One-on-one business counseling
* Peer critiques
* Conference rooms for meetings and private showings
* Shared offices and equipment for administrative tasks

Valuable Exposure
AI offers member artists valuable exposure and many of our members experienced their very first gallery exhibition and art sale through the Arts Incubator:
* Semi-annual members show in the Arts Incubator Gallery
* Exhibition space throughout the facility
* Exhibition in the on-line Arts Incubator Gallery
* Networking opportunities through numerous Arts Incubator events involving
local professional and arts organizations
* Built-in audience for your open studio during every First Friday art crawl
Non-Resident Artists:
As a Non-Resident AIKC artist, you receive ALL of the above Resident Artist benefits including shared-shop and fabrication facilities, but excluding private/individual studio space.
Art Biz Member:
Do you already have your own studio elsewhere, but would like to take advantage of AIKC resources and professional support? Being an Art Biz Member allows you to participate in our two-stage Professional Development program.
The first stage is participating in the Kauffman Fast Trac program, with an arts-industry focus group.
The second stage is offered at the Arts Incubator to further drill down the specific challenges of starting and running a business in the arts.
For an additional fee, Art Biz members have access to AIKC facilities and studio/shop resources.
Hello Art Member:
An Art Collectors` initiative- to be launched in Fall of 2009. Hello Art will build relationships between artists and those interested in the arts. Please visit the Hello Art section of our website.
