Jackie Battenfield comes to the Incubator!     Share/Save/Bookmark

Jackie Battenfield is a fantastic resource for working artists- she’s the author of The Artist’s Guide: How to Make a Living Doing What You Love. This former gallery director, artist and teacher has supported herself for over 20 years through sales of her art.  She and her husband (also an artist) have successfully paid the bills, purchased life insurance, funded their pension plans, took vacations and put their son through college.  Jackie attributes this success to diligent planning and pursuing opportunities.  She teaches professional practices at Columbia University and for the Creative Capital Foundation. She has freely shared her experience and knowledge in The Artist’s Guide- and she’ll share this knowledge with Incubator Artists personally! All AI artists are welcome  to ask her questions, take part in conversation on fueling an artistic career, or have their book signed!

The event will take place on the 3rd floor of the Arts Incubator from 5:30-7pm, Friday September 18th. More more information or to RSVP contact Kristin at kgrossman@artistincubatorkc.org
